hi! + i'm mohanned.
cs honours student, builder, and occasional over-explainer of interesting systems
i wanted this version to stay close to the original file you shared: same quiet paper feel,
same single-column layout, same light touch. the difference is mostly structural now.
i'm a computer science honours student at monash,
working across computer vision, data-heavy systems, and technical projects that are a little more thoughtful than they need to be.
i previously worked as a platforms intern at EY
and spent time on person re-identification research at monash.
what i liked from the reference site was not the look, it was the structure:
clearer sections, a stronger sense of progression, and room for both work and writing.
so this version keeps your aesthetic, but gives each part of your story its own place.
currently: trying to make a personal site feel like a person and not a document.

person re-identification and tracking
2025 - 2026
built and stress-tested a real-time re-identification system that combines face and body embeddings
to keep identities consistent across occlusions and re-entry.

why this tab exists
the reference site was useful here because it treated documents as part of the structure, not as an afterthought.
this page gives someone a quick scan before they decide if they want the full one-pager.
